In 2013, GrubHub merged with Seamless, MenuPages, and Allmenus. Now the site features more than 29,000 online and mobile ordering restaurants in 700+ U.S. cities and London.  In 2013 alone, the site sent more than $1billion in gross food sales to local takeout restaurants and processed an average of $180,000 orders on a daily basis. The site now serves more than 3.85 million active diners. A company may not be able to quickly increase their reputation by using GrubHub’s listings, but companies in the food industry would definitely benefit financially from using GrubHub.com

 As described on Wikipedia.
GrubHub is an online food ordering company in the United States. Headquartered in Chicago, it was founded in 2004 by Mike Evans and Matt Maloney. GrubHub won the University of Chicago Booth School of Business’s New Venture Challenge in 2006 and received its first round of venture capital in 2007, allowing it to expand its service to Boston and San Francisco.

Visitors to GrubHub start by entering their address. The service then returns a list of restaurants that deliver to that address as well as takeout restaurants within a predetermined radius. Users are also able to browse restaurants in their city or search by cuisine, restaurant name or specific item. Once a user determines what they want, they can place their order through the website or over the phone.[3] Each order is tracked and monitored by a customer service team.[1] The company’s mobile application shares the same functionality as the website with the additional benefit of beginning a search via geo-location.[4]
